IBM global campaign by Matt Blease & Niceshit. A series of animated spots for well, everywhere. Classic comedy, bold scripts and expressive characters – we cannot ask for more.

Was really exciting to receive messages from people all around the globe saying that they’ve spotted this films – from the JFK, to Tokyo trains, Augusta’s Masters and even Wimbledon. Nice.

It felt really refreshing to work on this campaign in such a hand-crafted way. It took a great team effort to develop these films and to embrace all the human ‘mistakes’ that come out of illustrating each and every frame.
There is an undeniable feeling of connection when working this way and we are still firm believers that great work is achieved by team work, same as these lovely ants right here.

IBM has such an amazingly rich visual heritage. We dropped in some special easter eggs throughout the animations paying homage to Paul Rand’s famous Eye, Bee, M logo.
The creative and narrative approach we took over these films was very much inspired on theater: Only the main ‘actors’ with their necessary props over stripped down backgrounds with just enough elements to share where the scenes are happening.
